The Journal of Applied Laboratory Medicine (JALM) is an international, peer-reviewed publication that showcases applied research on clinically relevant laboratory topics as well as commentary on the practice of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. JALM is a fully open access, online-only journal.

About JALM

With JALM, the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) empowers lab professionals to discover new adaptive solutions to patient health problems and drive innovation in the field. JALM expands on the scope of cutting-edge research in Clinical Chemistry by focusing on translational or applied laboratory medicine studies.

JALM considers submissions on laboratory methods and practice, evidence-based laboratory medicine and related clinical topics, clinical chemistry (including toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring), and more. Additionally, it provides a forum for discussion of policy and regulatory issues that impact the field.

JALM is a fully open access journal. Visit the open access page for details. ADLM Professional members who are the corresponding author of a paper accepted by JALM receive a discount on open access fees as a member benefit.
